"DoubleTalk was well worth the effort to get twin infants out of the house for the workshops. DoubleTalk is helpful to moms with older kids, too! Thanks for a great class!"

- Nicholas and Kaitlyn's Mom

Karen Pollak is the mother of three sons, including fraternal twins.

For more than ten years Karen has been an educator at the Women's Health Center for John Muir Medical Center, facilitating the "Adjustments to Life; Tips From the Experts" component of the nationally acclaimed Marvelous Multiples®.

In September, 2001 Karen founded DoubleTalk. Since its inception more than 350 new families of twins have participated in her program. She has consulted with expectant and new parents throughout California and out of state, providing guidance, mentoring and support on the myriad of issues facing multiple families. Karen has been a guest speaker at a number of mothers clubs, community centers and baby stores throughout the San Francisco Bay Area offering education on twins, sleep issues, post partum depression and more.

She has been interviewed by local magazines and newspapers on the subject of multiples, has written several articles on twin related matters, and has several times been the featured guest on World Talk Radio's "Health Matters" with Dr. Shoshana Bennett.

When her twins were small, Karen served as Support Services Liaison for the Contra Costa Parents of Multiples Club. More recently, she served as Vice President for the Twin Valley Mothers of Twins Club, chaired its Membership Committee, and in 2001 was voted its Member of the Year.

Karen, her husband and sons live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
